LG-U8100 comes with 2.2-inch, 26,000-color TFT-LCD screen. It is equipped with 300,000-pixel digital camera and various multimedia features such as VOD (video-on-demand) and MMS (multimedia messaging service).

I'm assuming that this is a misprint and that they actually mean a 65,000 color screen (I have seen that number in other places).

If they actually meant 260,000 color screen, perhaps that could confirm it is not the U100 chipset.

ericsson.com

Display support: up to QCIF + alpha size (176 x 220 pixels, 65k colors)

I dont know if I understand that spec correctly....but it seems to imply that the chipset wont support more than 65,000 colors. I'm also not sure what the chipset has to do with the display....

FWIW...the z1010 has a 65,000 color screen display.

Other than that, I still dont know which chipset is in the 8100 (or the 8150, which seems to be a W-CDMA/GSM handset with an OLED outer screen).
