OT - Steven, I rarely enter trades for the entire position or for lots less than 1000 shares. Most trades are either market or limits intended for immediate execution (often limits with a 1 cent offset in an attempt to ensure a fill at near the desired price - example: buy 1 cent beyond the current ask). I also mix my quantities (an old habit that probably serves no real purpose). I vary my style depending on what I see happening at the time (fast moving price or stalled action). I watch bid/ask sizes, but they move so quickly with AMAT ya can't count on them. Bottom line: most trades are at least 1000 shares at the market in 1 cent increments.
