It should be Palestine not Damascus

I'm not sure anyone really disagrees about this; certainly, it appears the Bush Administration agrees with it.

But I'm curious -- what is with your obsession with this years-old conflict in which the United States takes no side (other than to side against ANYONE who is commiting terrorist acts)? It is obvious that when the Palestinians stop acting like animals the United States stands ready to support their position -- yet, we can't manufacture new land for them.

You just seem to be obsessed and confused about what our role is and should be with respect to the Palestinian conflict. I believe most Americans, certainly the administration, want to see the Palestinians get their due -- but as long as they are using terrorism, they simply cannot be rewarded for those actions.
