To claim that Saddam's communications were destroyed, while he was still broadcasting on TV, is insulting to any intelligent reader.

It might have just been tapes recorded before the war. But even the broadcast where new tapes, its one thing to have the ability to broadcast an open signal across large sections of the country, its another to have secure two way communication, or even insecure communication with updates from all over and the ability to get the information needed quick enough to react to events and then get the specific orders to the right units in a timely matter.
