I agree. But KG4 made a polite and reasonable request, IMHO.

And you respond with a rationalization .. attempting to justify all the off-topic posts on this thread. Please, at least put an "OT" or "off-topic" at the beginning of those posts.

Thanks, Ron >>

I didnt mean to get everybody all upset with each other. As I said, the HOT TOPIC is of course world events, war and economy, and MOST people will want to discuss such things. I just don't think this is the place to do it. This is the SUNW board, not the "political Debate" board. There are plenty of places to go and discuss politics, or just make your own board. I just think it is unfair to those that come here and dont want to hear "politics", but are forced to, simply because they are looking for info on sunw. If there were no toher place to dicuss politics, then I could understand why the discussion is taking place here and on any board, but since there ARE plenty of places to discuss politics, or you can create your own very easily, I'd rather see this board with zero posts for 4 straight days, rather then see it turn into the political debate porch. Same thing during the election. Every board got cluttered with politcs. Most people decided that wasnt right and moved the political discussion elsewhere, as they were aware that not EVEYBODY wants to be force fed political opinions, while researching stocks.

Again, Respectfully....KG
