I apologize for my mis-worded statement. The sentiment I meant to convey was that if what you said was true - all the museums were looted - it was more than likely as a result of something planned and coordinated and not something that the military necessarily had control of. I doubt very seriously that the soldiers had orders to be a police force at the time. It is disturbing to me that you appear to continue to blame them. Could you please take a look at the big picture and stop politicizing for just a minute? It is sometimes useful to put yourself in someone else's shoes hypothetically. If you can do that you might get a new perspective.

The military was there to liberate the Iraqi people! If the Iraqi people chose to burn and loot, there was nothing in the military handbook that said they were to stop civilians.

This whole museum thing bothers me. Any curator with any mind would know to do something about as many of the artifacts as possible prior to a military conflict. The French were even smart enough to do this in Paris prior to the German take over during WWII. There is only one reason Arab people blame the Americans after the fact for anything and everything. THEY DON'T LIKE US and probably never will. The answer, get out of others peoples business especially Israel and dependent on OIL.
