As the anti-war movement has many prominent (and also probably many unknown) Jews, it is conceivable that some of the "human shields" were Jewish. I'm sure most Jews would regret their death but would understand in the event they were killed by a bomb meant for a military target. The Iraqis put their military targets in hospitals, playgrounds, schools, etc., and had no qualms about putting civilians in harm's way.

I certainly regret any deaths, including Iraqi civilians and soldiers forced to fight for a dying regime.

I don't believe that Israelis are purposely targeting civilians and I don't believe US soldiers are purposely targeting civilians.

Now I'm sure you have something from your cut and paste library that will have an incident or two. If you take off your hate-filled blinders, you will realize this truth:

Neither the government of Israel nor the government of USA are perfect. Both have histories that most of us would change. Yet, both are much better than most other governments and certainly better than those of the nations of the middle east, e.g. Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Yemen, etc.

I agree that rational people would continue to work to change their government but you are comparing apples and oranges. Israel is a democracy (albeing imperfect) striving to survive on a tiny strip of land that virtually nobody wanted, a waste land that they converted into a land of prosperity.

It is only jealousy and politics that have caused the Palestinians to be used as pawns, uniting the Arab nations who, without Israel, would be killing each other.

Don't be silly, I disagree with that(if it happened as you say) as much as I disagree with any terrorist action. I've never said I am a Zionist supporter, I'm not even sure what that all entails. I do believe the Jews should have a safe place for them to live, the same as anyone else should. At least safe from attack from other humans, we can never guard against the dangers of nature totally. Unfortunately, we don't live in an ideal world where that happens for everyone. The best we can do is strive for that goal.
