No, I wasn't saying that whites should NOT be hired into BET. I was saying if CULTURE is a criterion upon which hiring is important, I would not meet their guidelines. That isn't to say Eminem wouldn't, though (LOL). The point IS that merit is KEY. Hiring ME because I'm white and have media expertise and they need to meet certain diversity clauses wouldn't make ANY sense. However, I'm sure there are alot of white folk who have an intense and deeply rooted relationship with black culture and could make that step.
