However, why do you find it impossible that Indians are better candidates for the jobs? Because the core technology at virtually every technology company in the US was invented by americans. Indians only started coming here en masse 5 years ago. Prior to that, there were almost no H1-Bs anywhere. All of the phase I stuff at oracle, the kernel, the original ERP, all the code base were americans. The stuff at oracle now has a maintenance flavor to it, we never had that.
