Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $0.03 per share, $0.02 better than the Multex consensus of $0.01; revenues fell 28.2% year/year to $60.1 mln vs the $60.3 mln consensus. Co ended the qtr with $745 mln in cash and marketable securities and a net cash position of $585 mln, or $4.28 per share. Co expects Q2 GAAP EPS of ($0.02)-$0.02 on $60-$63 mln in revs, and raises its 2003 GAAP EPS guidance to $0.03-$0.12 from previous guidance of about ($0.01)-$0.09.
