Two images that I expect I will remember forever about this war are both of children.

The one is the young boy (11) who lost both his arms and asked for someone to help him get his arms back and that he needed hands. The camera backed off to leave and i saw the 6" stub of his arm wave goodbye. The child also lost his mother who was expecting and his father and two siblings in the blast and suffered burns to 60 % of his body.

The other was of the family that were ordered out of their modest home when soldiers were doing a sweep through the area looking for enemy. The father came out and then the crying wife followed by two young boys and a young girl. The children had their hands up and then they all got down on their knees. I shall never forget the image of the terrified and sobbing beautiful little girl (10) with her hands in the air.

I'm not going anywhere with this post, I just felt those two images should be witnessed. I am sure most everyone else here saw these scenes and no doubt we were all equally touched. Most unfortunate and unacceptible.
