I am very confident but expect Bush to pull an October Surprise of the highest degree. Either a needless war, false terrorist scare, energy crisis or something else he can control. Haven't thought of the fourth possibility yet. I wont go as far as assassination of Kerry, but something in that direction but less deadly. Some kind of big lie or frame-up? Who knows. Only Karl Rove knows the options. They're at war. But so is Kerry. He will fight an honest war though. And whatever happens, Kerry is not afraid of Bush. He has been through worse on the Mekong. And even William Weld. And trumphed. One thing I know, Kerry will be the nominee, unless the Dem party wants to self-destruct. But I dont think they will this time. They have way too much to lose.
