Greenie,

The OSX continues to be in the same tight trading range it's been in for the last few months. Nothing has changed. I don't have any positions in the OSX currently and I don't know when I'll take any on. Due to the tightness of the trading range and the fact that the OSX trades in and around major moving averages, I'm not interested in shorting them either. This doesn't mean those who play the OSX won't make money. I prefer to play the easier trades.

In addition to RAD and PVN, my recent buys have been in AMD, CMCSA and CC. The easy money, in my opinion. I've been playing the game of buying support and selling resistance until I see a break out on huge volume which is what I've been seeing in other sectors.

When the OSX breaks out of its current trading ranges, I'll take another look. Opportunity risk is another risk I look to manage. Tying up funds in a dead money scenario deprives one from taking advantage of other opportunities. The OSX has been dead money for a while now.
