my answer, "i don't have to disable zonealarm to share files or printers across my LAN"

beyond that, and some five posts later, all i can do is encourage you to read more about this topic from others besides me.

and i didn't say file and print sharing was the most dangerous thing to enable, i said it was *one* of the most dangerous.
