We have reached an Orwellian 1984ish WAR is PEACE society. We have a perpetual WAR for perpetual PEACE. That is the one accomplishment I can credit Bush for. And it plays right into the Republicans hands. Bush will be reelected as long as we're at war and need to support our President and high military budgets, which benefite wealthy Republicans, will be preserved for the forseeable future.
