They are harboring Iraqi leaders and hiding Iraqi WMD's

I don't really know that. Do you?

Powell suggested it, but how much is that is fact and how much is it hype - you know, the kind they used against Iraq, based on plagiarized student's papers based on 10-year old data, and plain simple forged documents...

They have been supporting and continue to support terrorist groups

That, I believe is your real point.

Yes, there are ample ties of Syria to terrorism. For decades now.

The question is what to do about it. Especially at this time, when the region is pretty much enflamed with all that is going on in occupied Palestinian territories and Iraq, I believe it is very unwise indeed to invade yet another country.

The question is whether or not Syria is a threat to anybody at this point. I feel the better way to deal with the terrorist issue is to give them very good incentives (and show the stick, which is hard to miss after Iraq) so that they will deal with this internally. And save face - that is important for the ME people.

... who regularly kill Israeli and other countries' civilians

Would you care to provide links to that? I don't remember any regular killing of Israelis or other nationals.

Also, they have their own chemical weapons program

Links, please.

Question: Are you advocating the invasion of all countries that have chemical weapons? After the way they gassed the theater in Moscow, I guess there is no doubt in anyone's mind that Russia has chemical weapons. What do you say we do about it?
