you are kidding yourself with polls just like the republicans in 98.

First of all, after any war where we WIN, there is immediate support. And this one has an extra dose of nationalism because we took some humiliating hits early on (the POWs etc) and with a short war, these are fresh in everyones mind. Remember, I was in favor of this war too. UNTIL I saw Bush deal with Syria. Now I know that Bush will start a war with anyone, it makes me wonder if iraq was the same deal, just the unlucky recipient of extreme Bush aggression. And what do you know... no WMDs!! Whos next in the Bush attack doctrine. I was guessing Korea, but it looks like Syria is the lucky winner based on whatever scandal Bush can dig up. Theres always something somebody is doing that violates something.
