Get a grip Lizzie. There are WMD's. They will be found. You
wanted to give the UN more time because 12 years wasn't
enough. Our troops have been in country less than a month
fighting a war & working hard to bring order & peace, yet
you think we have utterly failed in our search for WMD's.

The oil was illegally sent from one evil terrorist regime
to another terrorist regime. Both made many tens of
millions of illegal profits from it to strengthen their
grip on power & enslave their citizens.

And somehow you find fault with Bush. It sort of shows
where your morals & ethics lie, doesn't it?

I think GWB and I think alike so let me explain........ maybe you can understand?

There is nothing that will stand in the way of our president defending and protecting our nation. That is his sole obligation under the law, and he promised to do so when he took the Presidential Oath of Office. The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:

The Presidential Oath of Office

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The judgement he uses to come to decisions on how best to go about fulfilling that promise is up for debate, and that is all.

If you feel that GWB isn't doing his job legally then you can petition congress. If there is sufficient proof to your allegations congress can appoint a committee that will in turn investigate these allegations. If the president is found to be breaking the law he could face a congressional trial for impeachment.

Your other option is to continue to whine until 2004, and do everything in your power to convince a majority of Americans that you are right, and make sure they vote.

But let me reiterate so it is very clear:

There is NOTHING that will stand in the way of our president defending and protecting our nation. That is his sole obligation under the law, and he promised to do so when he took the oath. I support that position 150%.

You, on the other hand sound like an apologist for the ME or some powerful folks in Hollywood.

Are you?
