Ep:

I never doubted that Canadians fought in WWII, I guess I was kind of confused by the writer's linking of England with Canada (War of 1812), etc. As for the other issues (wood, TV programming, whatever), Canada should be extremely grateful that it gets to hitch a ride from its neighbor to the south, in everything from visiting tourists with a strong currency to defense and, yes, even TV programming. Sometime before 2060, the French Canadians will be able to secede and then western Canada will probably simply vote to join us as the 51st, 52nd, 53rd and 54th states (maybe more: British Columbia is bigger than California, Washington & Oregon combined, and in some ways more beautiful). When those parts of Canada join us we can stop the incredible rape of the forests on Crown Lands, if there are any left.

I don't have anything against Canada, except their constant carping.

Really.
