there's another fallacy -- you don't pay taxes to fund anything -- not even a giveaway -- income tax is all about control of resources.

You cannot be allowed too much control as an individual, i.e. you cannot be allowed to compete too much with the government for scarce resources.

Since when did spending or giveaways depend on revenues collected. Lie, sham and hoax. Taxes are not about revenues -- only keeping you and others like you from controlling too many resources -- can't get in the way of the central planners.
