No, we need the UN to govern Iraq for many years. Iraqis wont trust a US-only led group of administrators. Besides, we cant afford the money or the manpower. Our troops are wasted serving as cops over there, and in way over their heads. They'll just become terrorist targets too.

The Bushies are now suggesting NATo come in instead of the UN, but that's just admitting they need help. The UN not NATO is set up for these kinds of missions. Bush's snub of the UN put him in a corner. He can invade and win easily, but then what? Now it's a big quagmire and we desperately need help so we can pull out our guys. Our troops also badly need a rest and Guardsmen need to get back to their jobs and families.
