Yup, I am very much a believer in the big MMM wedge. However if you pull up a monthly chart, you'll see an even BIGGER wedge who's top line begins in 1997. It is certainly near the top now and I can see it being done, but there is room for yet another high.

mish, the thing I like best about the HUI is everyone is still bearish, very much so imo.

It has likely broken up, just as the dollar has likely broken down.

I'm not in the camp that it has done some sort of truncated 5. The XAU certainly did not and too many other gold stocks didn't either.

I think history will show one of two things:(a) Gold indices on a major leg up here, that will slowly build, or (b) Prechter will yet be proven correct and another bear leg down awaits.

Very long with stops.

Re the dollar this is a prerequisite for continuation of Zeev's GN03 imho.
