When they're mostly all chickenhawks who sit around and watch wars on TV.

Well said! Would be funny if it were not so tragic! :-(((

RE: inventing more wars, it will come to a point when we will have to reinstate the draft and that is when the smug upper middle-class folks come out against it. Recall that what brought the protests against Vietnam war was the draft.

And you know that HOW? I'm not interested in your opinion. Opinions are like belly buttons; everybody has one. Back your statement with FACTS. It's put up or shut up time.

And clearly made Kerry the spokesman for the opposition, an opposition which has a very good chance of relieving us of Bush in 2004.
Don't get your hopes up, dearie. If you're as right about this as you were about the war, we have nothing to worry about.

Also, what's to stop Bush from constantly inventing wars so they'll never be any debate allowed in this country?
Bush stopped debate? Are you delusional? DId you miss the demonstrations? You missed out on "Don't Start The War" and "Stop The War"?
I know you didn't, so apparently your Alzheimer's is getting worse.

After all the military protects the interests of the big corporations and very rich more than anyone else.
The military protects the entire country. So by your logic, let's just have everyone pay the same amount for equal protection.

Clinton proved that.
Slick WIllie proved he knew how to get a BJ from a chick no one else would give a second glance and he proved nothing else.

The rich all have tax lawyers and hundreds of loopholes. Many of them pay little or nothing.
Your gov't disagrees with you. All of them going decades back. On the average, taxes paid increase with income. Just what you wanted, dearie.

So much nonsense, AS. At any other time Kerry's remark would have been little more than drivel. But to say such a thing with the lives of US troops at stake was either foolish or stupid...not Presidential material, imo.

Less than a month and the war is all but over. What has been accomplished by this administration in both Afghanistan and Iraq is nothing short of amazing...to say otherwise is simply to deny reality. To try to further invent more conspiracy theories as previous ones topple is delusional.

If you're suggesting taxes should be cut across the board as government programs and spending are also cut then we agree on that. The "rich" (depending upon how you define them) pay the bulk of income taxes collected. If memory serves, the top 20% of income earners pay about 70% of the income taxes collected. The "ultra-rich" may pay far less through the use of various "foundations." Corporations do not pay taxes; the consumers of the products and services they produce do. It's simply built into the sales price--MK--
