I've lived in LA most of my life, attended both public and private schools, and my mother was a public schoolteacher here as well. I know very well of what I speak. And race has nothing to do with education; the politics of elitism has destroyed more young minds here than anything else. Bush had nothing to do with Davis' mangling of the Calif economy. He chose to buy energy at "mini-bar prices" (courtesy Dennis Miller) when other options were available. Just one more disaster for the worst governor we've ever had. Hopefully our experiment with North Korean economics will end soon...recall petitions are now circulating--MK--
