Hey, don't get on Powell too much. He's the only thing holding back Rumsfeld/Cheney from destroying what little is left of our diplomatic goodwill.

I'll bet that, in the coming years, we'll hear of monstrous battles inside Bush's cabinet between the Rumsfeld hawks and Powell moderates. Seems like a two-headed monster at times. If Powell were gone, we'd all be in deep trouble.

There is no current right-wing leader who ever served in combat. Powell is a moderate, maybe a little conservative. He's pro-choice, pro affirmative action and may not even be a Republican. But he has been a good soldier to his old commander in thief - i mean chief.
