We have a high tech military and this is just the beginning, within the next replacement cycles, we will improve the quantity and quality of systems by another 20%. You dont hand that capability over to those who dont want to serve nor those not fit for service. Americas armed forces are a source of great pride, the leadership in the Pentagon has never been better, the combined arms and net centric warfare models are well beyond any ever conceived. The way our troops have acquited themselves in the face of these challenges is a tremndously powerful statement about American Character. We all decide who we are; and what we become, because we are free to choose. Can many other countries say that? America is the world wrapped in a Country. Our armed forces are a way in and a way up, they provide instant credibility to employers looking for good employees, they fill our communities with a quality of citizens that enrich us all. The leadership shown by the NCO's and command structure is built on a qualitative awareness, that captures the essence of team work and love of the fight. Its akin to our love for sports, at any level. America has found a willing and profoundly better way to construct an armed force, and to actualize its missions according to new metrics based upon nobel purpose. From a profound sense for knowing, than doing, what is right. In the face of a world full of injustice, Americas Military forces are a cut above the rest, and will because of its mission, have no problem attracting citizens who will gladly serve this nation. To those citizens of countries on the road to freedom, could anything be more beautiful than an agreement between the needs of oppressed peoples, and our awareness of it?
