MSI, I am concerned about the more economic effects as opposed to worried about the disease itself.

I do not know that SARS will do much of anything for any currency, gold, mining shares, ormal equities, bonds, real estate, etc.

A world where nothing has a reason to go up is difficult to play;0) because logic/rationality wouldn't be useful as guides.

Even if so, my guess is that gummed up globalization will not be great for the USD-space, highly leveraged economies, debt-ed people, and export oriented economies.
