I suspect they are no longer viewed as innocents. ??......???? I'm sorry, John. Don't really understand what you meant here? The ME as innocents? Or the Grahams as innocents?

I don't know much about the Grahams except their family has been very involved with all Presidents that I can think of in the last 40 years. So has Jesse Jackson been around for a long time, although in his case, I'm still trying to figure out of what church his is a Rev. ...

I asked if you or anyone really knew if there was an American group going to Iraq in the near future, or later this year, or to the ME??? And if so, who would be included?

We've had, as I noted the other night, the Seattle Council of Churches, and others as well, sponsor Jim McDermott (US House-WA-d) and a group of others who went to see Saddam a few months ago...

I wondered why, didn't ever get an answer ....and was not impressed with that mix of state and religion either....

But considering this is Day 26, I would assume this was premature in the Foreign Affairs arena.

The Grahams have always been sensitive to presidential persuasion and no doubt he will receive some over this.

Actually, my main dislike of the Grahams comes from the "Nixon tapes." Billy Sr. sat there, not objecting, while Nixen spewed his anti-semitism.

But if I have to put up with the Grahams and the rest of the Evangelicals, that's better, IMO, than having "The Reverend Jackson" and the "The Reverend Sharpton" on my side.
