I have been spending time on some Chinese web sites back then. This was not brought up by a whole lot of people there so I'm not sure it is that significant as it appeared to be. Chinese government has been not happy with NK charging ahead by itself on some issues lately. In the Yang incident, China really gave Kim a black eye by arresting Yang just a couple days after his appointment. The whole thing went back and forth several rounds, with Yang ends up in the jail anyway.
