He also didn't get any help from Bush. When it was obvious that the energy providers were artificially inflating prices, he also asked Bush for help, but only got a temporary price cap, as I recall. Yes, he was hung out to dry.

But then, he 'solved' the problem by entering into long term contracts at ridiculous prices. Part of the agreements were not to disclose the prices, or so he said, and that really pissed people off. Turns out we entered into long term agreements at usury prices.

Yes, California was successfully raped by the energy bandits, and Davis was largely...just...standing...around.
