Well, we'll see. I think that any candidate that has a shot at Bush needs to come from the center, have a strong 'patriotic' background (given the current jingoism), and attack Bush's extremely weak economic record. But I think it is an uphill battle. A poll in the paper today showed that Bush would win here in California against any Demo candidate. Support from even the 'left coast' shows how strong Bush is right now.
