I see no reason to believe that the ability of terrorists to attack us has been impaired. Victory inevitably begets complacency, but this would be a bad time to be complacent.

Steve,
You may be right about complacency...Time will tell.
If you have read my book, you know that I for one do believe in preparedness at all levels at all times.

I also believe that the worldwide terrorist capabilities of Bin Laden and Saddam's regime have been seriously curtailed. Not ended... but surely seriously damaged.

Do not confuse lower alert levels with complacency. We cannot sustain the highest levels of alert indefinitely. We can remain vigilant and prepared.

I realize you are very concerned and would like to ask what if any steps you have taken to prepare your family to survive the next round of terrorist attacks that you seem to be predicting?
