Kerry doesn't care about facts only headlines and news coverage. It doesn't matter to him if someone the next disputes what he says the audience he is talking too heard what they want.

Kerry understands more facts than 10 GW Bushes.
He is a brilliant expert in many key areas including foreign affairs, weapons systems, intelligence, counter-terrorism, energy, environment, veterans affairs, children and womens issues, transportation, the list goes on and on. Plus he's a former prosecutor so he understands the law.
The most brillitn Silver Star winner in history I'm sure.

Kerry writes his own speeches and policy. Gw Bush reads a teleprompter or else mangles the English language with simplistic slogans and narrow-minded simplicity. He was a C student who under-achieved his way to the top thanks to Daddy's big buck frinds like Bectel, Enron, Chevron, etc., and masterful but deceitful political engineers. The only reason GW chose Cheney as a RM was so he'd have someone to think for him. There is no comparison between the brains and intellect of these two men. One is an intllectual giant the other is a mental midget.

I'm surprised that you're surprised at that, JDN. That is, after all, the preferred liberal way of dealing with the facts that they get wrong: move on and use another topic to make people forget about it since good intentions are generally easier to remember.

Unfortunately for them, North Korea appears to be one of the first opportunities for the US to develop a more effective 21st century alternative to the UN Security Council, which is fast becoming a 20th century relic. The SARS epidemic which originated in a Chinese province, for example, is already providing some interesting real-time insights of how countries can work more quickly together to contain the spread of a naturally occuring virus which could just as easily be a weaponized virus. One immediately apparent appeal : definitely no room for French-style grandstanding.

It's just too bad that the Demoncrats got the 2002 North Korea situation all wrong because they have no choice but to run away as fast as they can from the doomed 1994 Clinton framework which they supported and which already appears to be going down in history as a classic example of why................
