Banks' Ability to Dodge Bullets Benefits BKX
Thursday April 17, 9:32 am ET

By James J. Cramer,

For a couple of years, this market took bullets the way bad guy pop-ups get hit in the FBI's Hogan's Alley: right between the eyes.

Lately, though, have you noticed all the bullets we've been dodging? Ford (NYSE:F - News), courtesy of this good quarter, now is going to be able to get some cheaper financing. I don't know if AMR (NYSE:AMR - News) will make it, but it's staying off the "Do Not Resuscitate" list for the moment. Charter Communications (NasdaqNM:CHTR - News) keeps staying alive, although that one seems like it is more smoke and mirrors, it hasn't had to file.
