Was riding up a chair lift in Vail one spring with a couple in their 80's..... with ski's on. They were from Australia and had made the trip every year for years to ski Vail and Aspen. Barbara and I expressed our admiration and hope that we'd be riding that lift in our 80's. We asked them their secrete.... as we were in our early 30's. Quote: "If you rest you rust. Put your goals out front to keep you moving, and keep pushing until your stopped." We skied with them for a while and they were solid players. Never forgot the advice. We intend to ride that same lift in Vail the year I turn 80, and every year their after...! Until my position is "Stopped Out".....! <smile>
