Actually amcc and scmr may be good buys at these levels. even after todays ramb amcc near book value. both have plenty of cash to ride out the storm

I didn't know Tivo was in Alviso.... bwahahahhahah... funny because you can see the Tivo building on 237 not too far from the old Ariba bldg, and all of those are San Jose/Santa Clara, I guess Tivo is right over the line.

``I remember when we first moved here, we went back and forth on, `Is Alviso really a place to be headquartered?' '' TiVo spokeswoman Rebecca Baer says. ``It doesn't have its own city council, its own government. It's not really a place.''

Alviso was a place -- its own city until the late '60s. Then it was swallowed whole by San Jose, which needed a place to stash its garbage and treat its sewage.
