LOL! The intent of the sanctions was to get Saddam's regime to disarm. The fact that this regime no longer exists makes this kind of moot don't you think?

(3) you need a motion to remove the sanctions and that motion should be put to a vote.

Which could happen in a day if countries like Russia and France would act responsibly.

It's funny, when I first started posting on this thread, all the talk was about the U.S. and oil. Now it appears that the ulterior motives were on the other side.

The more I see of the U.N., the more I am convinced that it is a dysfunctional body that serves no purpose in the world. It is a body of fools.

But USA is too busy and occupied with occupying and arranging little elections
