CNN is balanced? You sound like the Iraqi Information Minister.

People who want to see only one side of the issue cannot be objective about 'balance'. For right wingers, balance is somewhere between Bush and Strom.

Balanced? Really? CNN admits to covering up news, both the LA Times and NY Times repeatedly came out comparing Afghanistan and Iraq to Vietnam, predicting wholesale destruction of civilians and residential infrastructure...the BBC decided not to show the toppling of Saddam's statue in Baghdad as it happened...Le Monde practically laughed at the first US tank casualties, suggesting the US might have better luck using French tanks...and I believe it was the Guardian that compared our precision bombing of military targets to the wretched and reckless incindiary bombing of Tokyo and Dresden...nope, we've seen and heard it all Pointing to one columnist (Safire) and one or two show hosts is hardly "balanced."--MK--
