I have predicted nationalization of auto mfrs and airlines

step #1: large bailout loans
step #2: larger bailout loans
(against hefty job loss background and monster financial loss)
step #3: conditions and stipulations for further loans
(translation: mgmt involvement)
step #4: partnership gaurantees
(with job preservation promises, and huge public outcry)
step #5: regular Congressional subsidies

it is written, it will come to pass
just like Penn Central and AmTrack
only with far greater urgency and mandate

by another name: NATIONALIZATION

I say bankruptcy not to imply liquidation, but only to stress their financial total lack of viability, whereby assets are overwhelmed by both debts and obligations such as pension

cases in point: Rostenko in his latest Gold-Eagle article submits that 50% of the American public is technically bankrupt
they have not yet been liquidated (but a large slice will)

this is all part of the PIMCO McCullen's expansion of big govt
all for the greater good
all for the lesser profitability

we (you and I) see eye to eye on Ford
