The man was (is?) seriously deluded and irrational. He had to know he had no chance against the US military. He had billions in wealth and much of it was most likely out of the country. He could be lying on a beach in Libya now ogling the babes, drinking illicit scotch, and laughing his head off. I agree totally with you here, and could never figure the guy out and his logic or the lack of same.... It's like he is from another planet or something, where avoiding reality reigns supreme....
