Don't know the exact numbers today. However, in 1999 the rich (top 1%) paid 37.2 % of the taxes. So you can have some relief that not every American family of five is paying what you claim they are to support Israel's family of five.

Hi Emile, I'm addressing my question to you because you seem to be quite knowledgeable on this subject. I came across this site on the Talmud and I can't believe what I'm reading. One of the passages says: "...intercourse with a dead woman is apparently permissible". (Yebamoth 55b, p.371). Is this website some sort of anti-Jewish site or does the Talmud really preach that this sort of thing is acceptable? Thanks for you help. despatch.cth.com.au
