Oh. Well, maybe I was misunderstood! I voted for GWB and I'll vote for him again in 2004 when I believe he will win by the largest margin in the history of any election. And I think he has done an absolutely perfect job on taking out the Taliban and the Saddster, and that he'll go down in history because of it. I also am waiting patiently for some progress on the economy, and while I do not trust him to just luckily do the right thing, and while I'll be the first person to start screaming if he screws it up, I have no reason to assume he will, because he's doing just fine so far IMHO. I also think Daschle, Gephart, and most of the rest of those guys are weak, self-serving, morally corrupt leaders who take their cue from Bill Clinton, and who factually don't understand the role of the United States in the world or who we are dealing with or how they should be handled, who have no respect for the rule of law, who assume that the ends justify the means, who want to punish me as a taxpayer to reward people who either refuse to work or assume that I owe them something just because they are taking up space, who can tell the difference between art and pornography but feel some need to make pornography the new definition of art so some lunatic somewhere isn't personally offended, who think I am too simple and stupid to understand what to do with the money I work hard for and earn so they need to assist me for a small additional charge, and further that their party has changed from a group of people that had a goal backed by a legitimate philosophical basis into some cartoon from some twilight zone that now has absolutely no regard for the actual economic and social problems in this country or the average American citizen, while screaming at the same time that I'm the one that is "unrealistic". I also believe that rather than get their own sh*t together, which is almost impossible now because you have to take responsibility for your actions before you can change them, they have become so morally corrupt that want their constituents to purposefully ignore the fact that I, like them, deplore the moral decay in this country over the last 40 years and I, like them, believe in racial, religious, educational and political equality for all U.S. citizens. They also want anyone who disagrees with me to ignore the fact that I believe they have just as much right to their opinion as I do to mine, they instead insist to their constituents that I am different, or wicked, or hateful, or ignorant, but in any case wrong, and underlying my incorrect opinion I really don't care and just want them to die, and whatever is wrong is not their fault, but mine. There is no right and wrong in them, no good and bad in them, there is only them and "the others who are wrong and bad". In other words, they scream the most about the exact things that they are guilty of themselves and that I am morally and politically opposed to, they assume that "everyone" is a corrupt criminal just because they are, and all the while I stand by and pay for their rant.
