The media is simply part of that same movement I don't agree with that at all. Anyone who reads the alternative leftwing press (and there is a rather large alternative leftwing press out there) like the Nation and Mother Jones or even the Marxist Workers.org, realizes just how much corporate and government scandal never sees the light of day in the mainstream media. The mainstream media is hardly a tool of the far left Wobblies and Gus Hall wannabe Commies. Do a comparison for yourself. Read Mother Jones and the Nation for a few months and see how many of their muckraking stories ever makes it into the mainstream media. I think you'll get a different picture of the mainstream media if you do. One that makes the mainstream media look much more moderate then many conservatives believe it is. One that makes you realize that the mainstream media is just as much a protectorate and part of the establishment as any other conservative institution in society.
