Sigh. There is a difference between disagreeing with someone, and calling them a traitor. Treason is a serious crime, as John Walker found out. To true Americans, being accused of betraying their country is as vile as being called a pedophile. Why do right wingers seem to think they are the only ones who love America? I'm no lawyer, but I believe if you accused someone of being a traitor in a public enough forum, they could get you for libel and/or defamation of character. Freedom of speech does not extend to the point of destroying someone's reputation because of your opinion of their views.
