I think the editorial slant reflects an agenda which in turn affects the actual reporting of news events. If I read a NY Times editorial stating opposition to the war on the grounds of international opinion, UN inspections, fear of alienating the Germans or French, fear of millions of casualties, another Vietnam, etc., and little (if any) of it comes to pass, after the same arguments were unsuccessfully made about Afghanistan...I've got to doubt the credibility of that organization and question its motives. That same scenario has happened over and over during the past year throughout the world. Does ANYONE hold CNN, the BBC or Al-Jazeera to the same level as they did a year ago? I don't think so...

As for far-flung stories in the alternative press....very entertaining. But I've also been known to listen to Art Bell.

Have a great Easter, Rock!--MK--
