The Supreme Court recently upheld a prohibition on cross-burning, which brings to mind the topic of flag-burning that some liberals see as a credible form of free speech. Naturally, I don't accept this argument, but from a different perspective, aren't there laws concerning open fires in this country? I've never seen this aspect of the topic discussed where the fire itself not even considering the object being burned would be grounds for prosecution. * * *
