Okay Nadine, it's martial law, not a police state [there's been a notable lack of policing]. Yes, it's still a hot-zone with active shooting, but that's barely a war. It's more like a very hot Northern Ireland with active bombing, shooting and so on. That's not really a war, though I agree the definition of war is squishy.

Wasn't the screaming woman who was blown up in a vehicle with some other guy and she ran from it? The circumstances that I read then [and the war was still full on] were quite different from this woman shouting at the troops, who apparently know who she is. [Edit... I see the link... thanks.]

However, I consider her very stupid, arrogant and a pain in the neck who I'd probably want removed to a POW camp because she's distracting soldiers from their work and increasing their risk. From a self-preservation point of view, she's stupid to carry on like that because not all soldiers use good judgement under pressure and in fear. Presuming all soldiers will make the best possible judgement is very stupid.

I'd assume they are all gun-nuts just itching for an excuse to shoot something, anything! Running up to them, confronting them and shouting isn't my idea of a good idea.
