Thanks...that operation isn't fun. My mother had both knees and hips replaced, but that was a long time ago...things are much improved now.

Was she still in the hospital?

Oh, no...same thing as mine....Give her my love too when you talk to her tomorrow, please. I'm sure she will have to heal first and be careful as well....It's a tricky thing...mine is still causing trouble, but the Doc wants it to completely heal before they do the new knee. I asked how much to do or not do...he said, when it hurt, don't do it...in effect.

It is amazing.... these drive by surgeries... I still have to keep both legs elevated several times a day... Have you ever thought how hard that is when you want to type on the computer? But, where there is a will, there's a way, they say. Also helps if no one else is home so they can't see how contorted it is....<g>

Go Sarkie, GO!

Say hello to her and give her my best wishes. My boss had one knee replaced about 6 weeks ago, came back to work after 4 weeks fo two weeks, then had the other done. He'll be back in several weeks.

Prior to the 1st surgery, he was hobbling around on 2 canes with so much pain on his face it hurt to look at him. After coming back after the 1st surgery, he was doing a lot better. Hopefully he will be something like normal after the 2nd.
