1) Use of their new CDMA chip - heard something like didn't want to jeopardize relationship with Qualcomm and it being a win/win situation ???

They seemed pretty careful in their endorsement of their new chipset.

Beware the Gorilla ;-)....

Will need to listen to CC replays to get a better idea but my first impression is that both Samsung and Motorola have been impacted by the new Chiner phone makers at the low end of the market. And, isn't Nokia also headed in that direction?

It seems like everyone is going towards the low-end. If Qualcomm's ZIF chipset is as good as advertised, they should be able to deal with the competition. Of course, the question must be asked....where in the world is the MSM6000? They sampled over a year ago and I havent heard anything about any models.

Considering the fact that Qualcomm was supposedly working with Flextronics on an MSM6000 based handset, you would think that would be the first one to hit the market.
