Old habits die hard.

I'm talking about the habit of disliking Americans no matter what they do.

This has nothing to do with habits. Jews lived and thrived in Iraq from 600 BC to 1940's AD

Your dates are off, you should say the the 1930's. After that the government of Faisal II became Nazi sympathizers. The great farhoud was in 1941, what was the Israeli threat at the time?

The continuation of the hatred is not from habit, it is from the continuation of the occupation of Palestine. The expanding settlements. The oppressive check points. The daily killings. Remove the causes, and the hatred will disappear.

By "settlements", do you mean Tel Aviv and Haifa?
